This project includes the proposed West Shore Tahoe Trail Segments identified in the Cascade to Meeks Trail Feasibility Study; DL Bliss to Eagle Point and Cascade to Eagle Point. Pillars of Resilience

The project reduces reliability on automobile, reducing GHG emissions and particulate matter associated with vehicle trips.
The trail provides non-auto access to popular recreation sites on the west shore and closes the gap between south and north shore. Provides alternative mode of travel consistent with Sustainable Communities Strategy/RTP.
