This project aims to add safety improvements along Lake Tahoe Blvd from Sawmill Rd to Viking Rd/D St. Key features of this project include, but not limited to: providing a safer and more comfortable space for cyclists by creating a designated cycling lane with an additional buffer zone between cyclists and motor vehicles; providing dedicated turn lanes at the Industrial Ave intersection, and tying into the City of South Lake Tahoe's recently completed Lake Tahoe Boulevard Class 1 Bicycle Trail (03.02.02.0077).
