Marie Sluchak Community Park

Completed
The Marie Sluchak Park was constructed as a small amphitheater which included a stage and seating with an outdoor movie screen, a BBQ, picnic tables, community bulletin boards, and a children’s playground. In 1990 the Tahoe Cedars Property Owners Association and Tahoe City Public Utilities District entered into an agreement for maintenance of the park. A major overhaul to the stage and electrical system is needed. The shed is in danger of collapse and the stage surface is rapidly deteriorating. The electrical and lighting system are now over 25 years old and badly in need of updating and the children’s playground is in need of replacement to meet current ADA standards.
