Ski Run Marina Aquatic Invasive Plant Control

Planning/Design
Conditions in the Marina indicate that an integrated management plan is needed at this site. Preliminary data from the Ski Run Marina AIS Plant Control Project- Laminar Flow Aeration (01.03.01.0026) indicates that this may be a useful tool for reducing aquatic invasive plants. Aquatic invasive plant control planning will pursue the use of integrated methods to address the infestation in the Marina and in Ski Run Channel (01.03.01.0013).

Notes

01/23/2024 7:32 AM System AIS Program partners continue to strategize a treatment plan.
01/26/2023 10:38 AM System Planning for treatment continues to occur with program partners. Treatments will complement the Laminar Flow Aeration system. In 2022, expenditures covered site visits to assess existing plant conditions, water levels, and light transmissivity, the later information needed to understand future UV light implementation.
