Create, Enhance, and Maintain Trail Networks
The first phase of the long-studied eight mile North Tahoe Bike Trail, connecting Dollar Hill in Tahoe City to the Pine Drop Trail and regional park in Tahoe Vista. This fills one of the last gaps for completing a non-motorized transportation and recreation travel alternative in the North Lake Tahoe region. The Dollar Creek Shared Use Trail is a 2.2 mile segment from Dollar Hill into the northern Cedar Flat neighborhood. Construction was started in 2018. Project is now complete.
