Project is a cooperative partner effort with CAL FIRE to implement fuels reduction on the newest CAL FIRE Demonstration State Forest to provide ingress/egress for recreationists and the Sky Mountain Camp at Lake Valley Reservoir, as well as to restore forest structure after the 2001 gap fire, begin to restore the historic fire return interval, and protect the natural, historic and prehistoric resources on the forest.
