Hydrologic Integrity Stormwater Management
The County Service Area (CSA) # 5 Erosion Control Project includes the developed portions of the northwest corner of the Tahoe Cedars subdivision southwest of Highway 89 between the El Dorado County Line and Poplar Street. The goal of the Project is to reduce the concentration of fine sediment in the storm water which exits the Project area before reaching Lake Tahoe. The Project was split into multiple phases. The final phase (Phase 3) project area is roughly bounded by Placer Street to the east, McKinney Street to the west, and the Placer/El Dorado County line to the north and west. Construction of phase 3 is estimated to occur in the summer of 2025.
