Mechanical and Manual Removal
Aquatic invasive plant removal implemented at Logan Shoals is prioritized in the Action Agenda, a multi-year lake-wide strategy to remove aquatic invasive plants along the shoreline of Lake Tahoe. Methods of removal include barrier installation, diver-assisted suction (if needed), and hand removal. Barriers were installed at this site in 2023 and removed in 2024. Divers continued surveillance monitoring at this site throughout the 2024 plant growing season.
