Pillars of Resilience

Back to all Pillars of Resilience

Economic Diversity

Economic diversity boosts business opportunities, enhancing regional vitality and benefiting rural and vulnerable populations. Resilient forests offer ecosystem services and products, supporting local economies and jobs in recreation, tourism, and natural resource management.

The goal is for forest management and outdoor activities to support a sustainable, natural-resource-based economy, especially in rural communities.
