Pillars of Resilience
Forest Resilience
Resilient forests offer diverse ecosystem services like wildlife habitat, clean water, stable soils, recreation, biodiversity, wood products, and carbon sequestration. They are crucial for climate change mitigation and adaptation.
The goal is for vegetation composition and structure to align with topography, desired disturbance patterns, landscape conditions, and climate change adaptations.
